Since 1982, Our Lady’s Inn has served as a life-affirming alternative to abortion for almost 7,000 women who have chosen life for their unborn babies. For more than 37 years, these families have been sheltered and supported in their efforts to live healthy and productive lives, achieve educational goals, gain employment, and secure stable housing.

Our Lady’s Inn opened its doors on Jan. 22 to aid women in crisis pregnancies. The first Inn was located at St. John Nepomuk Parish in LaSalle Park.
1985
To address the need to help more women, a second home opened in North County in the former convent at St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish in Bellefontaine Neighbors.

Expanding services to continue supporting women after giving birth and moving from the Inn, the two-year Aftercare Program was established.

Both locations were combined when residents moved into a newly renovated South City location.

Augmented the residential program services by the addition of nursing staff.

Opened a transitional housing facility in South City, allowing for more independent supported living.

Opened home in Defiance serving St. Charles County and surrounding areas.

Added counseling services to the residential program service offering.

Moved administrative offices and opened Aftercare Drop-In Center in Brentwood.

Initiated a Trauma Informed Care service delivery model.
