Important note about the Missouri Maternity Home State Tax Credit deadline for 2009 taxes!
In order to be eligible for 2009 deductions, all donations must be received at Our Lady's Inn on or before December 31, 2009. To help Our Lady's Inn meet the deadline established by the Mo. Dept. of Social Services:
Please submit your completed 2009 tax credit application to Our Lady's Inn on or before February 11, 2010.
If you do not have a tax credit application, please request one from Tammy Duncan at (314) 351-4590.
The Mo. Dept. of Soc. Serv. states: "Tax credit applications must be submitted within one (1) year of the date of the donation to be a qualifying donation."

Our Lady's Inn is emergency maternity shelter for pregnant women who are experiencing homelessness, and their precious children. Opened January 22, 1982 in St. Louis, Missouri, Our Lady's Inn has provided shelter and care to almost 5,000 pregnant moms, plus their precious babies and children. The Missouri State Legislature has enacted a law allowing individuals and businesses that contribute to Our Lady's Inn and other Maternity Homes in the state of Missouri to claim a state income tax credit equal to fifty percent of their donation. This credit is in addition to the regular state and federal deductions claimed for charitable donations. The credit is in addition to the regular Missouri state and federal tax deductions. Individuals and businesses donating $100 or more per year can request a Missouri State Income Tax Credit and deduct half of the dsonation from the Missouri state income tax payment. Gifts of cash, bonds, stock and other marketable securities qualify. Please consult your tax advisor.
