We are looking for a Full-Time Facilities Maintenance Technician to support our homes in St. Louis City and Defiance as well as our Administrative suite in Brentwood. The Facilities and Maintenance Technician is responsible for the oversight of routine and preventative maintenance and management of the buildings and grounds of Our Lady’s Inn. In conjunction with the Chief Operations Officer, the Facilities Maintenance Technician will help to plan, direct and oversee the overall maintenance of the buildings which includes electrical, plumbing, septic, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, carpentry, fire/security systems and other technical areas. Be prepared to spend time on your feet filling maintenance requests for small jobs and getting bids for larger repair projects. The Facilities Maintenance Technician also has the responsibility for accurate documentation of all maintenance related services and products as well as ensuring inspections and emergency drills are properly conducted and documented.
A qualified candidate must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; education from a technical/trade school preferred. 3-5 years’ maintenance experience required. General knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical and HVAC also required. Candidate must be organized, detail oriented, possess strong project and time management skills. Must have valid driver’s license and clear driving record. Candidate must support Our Lady’s Inn pro-life mission.
