Child Advocate
We are looking for a part-time Child Advocate who is responsible for advocacy and case management of the children living in our maternity home. The Child Advocate will address children’s issues by making referrals for services. In this role, the Child Advocate will also coordinate school enrollment, model health family activities and relationships, enter case notes, and perform data entry. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, or other related field and should have experience working with children in social services or education. Candidate should have strong time management and communication skills and the ability to maintain professional boundaries in a trauma informed manner. Child Advocate may work 1-2 evenings per week to accommodate the needs of our children living at the inn. May work occasional weekend shift to facilitate family activities outside the inn.
